Jana Kramer bio
Jana Kramer gained fame as an actress, country-pop musician and songwriter after she appeared on the television show One Tree Hill. She was Alex during three of the final four seasons. The show featured her debut release as a country artist and helped propel her debut album on the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One, her follow-up album from 2015, reached in the Top Ten. The last decade saw she appeared as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars as also in television movies as well as several TV shows. She also released some singles which were not albums. The year was 2021 and the single Doubting Voices came out. Born and raised within Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer grew up on country music and would eventually make a record career, but she started her career acting as an actress, appearing on screen on the screen in the 2002 independent horror film Dead/Undead while still in her teens. Kramer was a guest on episodes on All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights for the second season of the series 2007-2008. Kramer was later cast to play Portia Ranson in 90210 (2008-2009) as well as Brooke Manning, in Entourage (2009) prior to when she was offered the role of One Tree Hill by the CW as Alex Dupre. Kramer remained with the One Tree Hill team until the halfway point of its final season (2012). Jana Kramer During her run on the show Kramer has signed a record deal for her record label Elektra Records and debuted the contemporary love song for country music I Won't Stop on a 2011 episode on One Tree Hill. Later, in 2012, the song was released as a single on Jana Kramer - her first album. The track was featured in the Top Country Albums of Billboard's chart within the Top Five. She continued acting in movies such as Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would appeal to her fans. Kramer's second album Thirty One came out on Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in October of 2015. It was a Top Five Country Hit I Got the Boy as well as the Duet Steven Tyler and Aerosmith performed with helped it to reach third place in the Billboard 200 and number 10 on the chart for country albums. The two-month stint on Dancing with the Stars 23rd episode ended up with her finishing in fourth place. That same year she had a hit adult contemporary hit song called Straight No Chaser's Feels Like Christmas.
